Helping kids grow. Guiding parents along the way.
Therapy for kids, tweens, & teens in littleton, co
Every family’s journey has steep moments-
I help kids develop the skills they need to thrive
while guiding parents through the ups and downs along the way.
Kids feel it pretty quickly — this is a safe place.
Whether your child is 5 or 15, they tend to relax here faster than you might expect. Sessions are shaped around how they communicate — through play, art, conversation, or all three — so there's no pressure to perform or talk before they're ready. You might be surprised when your kid actually wants to come back.
You won't be left guessing.
Parents often tell me they appreciate that I'm direct. I'll tell you what I'm observing, what I think is going on, and what we can actually do about it. I draw on approaches like CBT, attachment-based therapy, and expressive arts — but I'm less interested in the clinical terminology than I am in giving you practical things that help at home, not just in my office.
I've spent over two decades in kids' and teens' worlds — and I'm also a mom.
Long before I became a therapist, I was building relationships with young people in other professional roles. That history shapes how I work: I understand the pressures kids and teens are navigating right now, and I know how to meet them where they are. And as a parent myself, I bring that lens to every family I work with — I know this isn't easy, and I don't take lightly the trust you're placing in me.

Hey, I’m Amy.
I work with kids, tweens, and teens who may be struggling with anxiety, big emotions, behavior challenges, ADHD, or difficult life changes.
My goal is to help children feel understood and supported — and to help parents feel more confident in the hard moments.
Through play therapy, creative expression, and practical strategies, kids build the emotional skills and resilience they'll carry with them long after our work together ends.
how i support kids and families
Emotions
Anxiety, big feelings, grief, and overwhelm can be hard for kids and teens to manage on their own. Through play therapy, expressive arts, and supportive conversation, I help young people understand their emotions, build resilience, and develop healthy ways to cope.
Behavior
Acting out, shutting down, difficulty focusing, or frequent conflict at home often signal that a child needs new skills and support. I help kids and teens build self-regulation, problem-solving, and confidence while helping parents understand the deeper needs behind the behavior.
Connection
Parenting can feel confusing and exhausting when nothing seems to work. I partner with parents to strengthen connection with their child and provide practical guidance and tools that help families navigate challenges and move forward with greater confidence.
YOU DON’T HAVE TO NAVIGATE THIS ALONe.
